2:45 p.m. Variance Request Hearing - Lot: 610 Saddle - see attached documentation.

Owners are requesting a height variance of 3-4 feet above 17-foot height limit.

Reasons: Allows height for cathedral ceiling. Which allows the foundation on existing ground level. Does not impair any neighboring views.

 

A.  Call to Order – President’s Comments and Announcements – Betsy Coddington

A Special Board Meeting was held on October 9 to discuss and vote to approve the proposed 2025 Ballot.  The minutes will be included in the October 24 Board Meeting packet.

 

B.  Member Correspondence –

Three letters were submitted regarding the Marina Registration and rule change. They are included in D.4, Marina Rule Change and Registration

One letter is included in E., Member Participation

 

C.  Manager's Comments and Report - Marnie Levy. See the attached report.

 

D.  Board Items for Discussion and possible inclusion on the Agenda for Thursday’s Board Meeting.  Four possible actions: 1) Place on Board Meeting Agenda as action item; 2) Place on Board Meeting Agenda as an information item; 3) Move item to next month’s Study Session Agenda; 4) No action or further discussion required.

1.  Welcome Arianne Raser to the Office Staff – Marnie Levy.

2.  Proposed Emergency Preparedness Committee Charter – Betsy Coddington. See attached.

 

3.  Proposed Chlorine/pH Balance system for CG Pool – Mike Heckinger. See attached.

The Pool Committee would like to purchase the ChemtrolCH250 at a cost of $7,114.05 + tax, to be paid for with Pool Committee donated funds. They are asking that the Board accept this automated pool chemical balance machine and maintain it through operating funds – Mike Heckinger.

  • A letter from Kriss Edwards, Pool Chair, about costs and maintenance is attached.
  • The proposal agreement with a deadline of 10/31, from Ole’s Pool & Spa is attached.

 

4.  Proposed Marina Rules and Registration Changes – Craig Muma

NOTICE:  The President will call on members present, and with a hand raised on Zoom, with any questions, comments, or concerns.  Each member may speak once on any given topic until every member who wishes to speak has done so.  Each member may have one rebuttal with a 2-minute time limit on the same topic.  If another topic is raised the same procedure will follow.  Note:  The Board of Trustees will not hear or discuss owner violations or owner account issues.
